Hi, I'm Liana

"I help people find well-being through learning to knit."
Currently I dedicate myself to creating and designing my own crochet and amigurumi patterns, and I teach classes in various knitting techniques: knitting, loom weaving, and braiding.
My aim is to highlight the value of weaving as a means of artistic and creative expression for people of all ages. Through experience, I have seen that working with one's hands offers health benefits, improves motor skills, memory, creativity, and concentration, and helps strengthen social relationships and self-esteem.
Throughout my professional career as an educator, artisan, and designer, alongside women weavers, childhood, and families, I feel these elements merge within me. Weaving has been a constant activity, one that holds the fondest childhood memories and which I enjoyed for long afternoons in the company of my mother and aunts: tireless weavers and artisans who taught me to love this art.
I like to approach each knitting project with care, using high-quality yarns that are soft and have a pleasant texture. I consider my handcrafted items, classes, and patterns to be works I create with great affection, and each one holds great value.
I have participated in craft fairs in Barcelona as a workshop leader, selling my textiles and creating designs for various clients. I have 20 years of experience as an educator specializing in art education and Montessori pedagogy, and 4 years of experience as a workshop leader in civic and cultural centers (C.Civico Can Basté, Casa del Rellotge, Sant Jordi Ribera Baixa, Villa Florida, Sant Ildefons, Urgell, Espai Tata Inti and Botonets).
If you want to get in touch with me, I'd be happy to help...
